Justin Mueller
Wine Director
Justin grew up surrounded by hospitality. His large Italian-American family in Philadelphia instilled in him a genuine care for making others happy, which propelled him into a career in the hospitality industry. He and his wife moved to Denver in the midst of the COVID pandemic, and both have been lucky enough to steward restaurants that were awarded stars by the Michelin Guide in its inaugural rating of Colorado. The wine program he built at one-starred Beckon in Denver was recognized by Wine Spectator as one of the best 1,500 wine lists in the world. Prior to relocating, he worked and ran multiple Grand Award-winning wine programs at Michelin-starred properties in San Francisco and New York City. He earned the Advanced Sommelier credential through the Court of Master Sommeliers, Americas in 2018; sat for the Master Sommelier Diploma Examination in 2019; and holds a Master’s Degree in Education from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. In his free time, he loves watching his Philadelphia Phillies, playing competitive adult-league ice hockey, and spending quality down time with his amazing wife and their three rescue dogs.
